First Enrollment in the DePPaRT Study at Adult Site in Canada

4/24/2015

After months of delays with contracts and challenges with information systems set up, we are pleased to announce the enrolment of the fist adult patient in the Death Prediction and Physiology after Removal of Therapy (DePPaRT) Study! We are very appreciative to the patient's family in consenting to participate in this study, and for our stellar coordinators at The Ottawa Hospital for beginning to screen and enrol just 3 days after getting the official "green light" from their contracts department.

This brings our total number of patients enrolled to 3, and the total number left to go to 497!

We are hoping to begin making a more significant dent in this number soon, as final site contracts are in negotiation status at a number of our Canadian sites.

Keep checking back for more periodic information on the DePPaRT study! I will be updating this site more often now that Laura has handed over website update duties.

Best,
Amanda
