Part of the DePPaRT study involves the collection and electronic download of continuous waveform data from patients who undergo withdrawal of life sustaining therapy in the intensive care unit. This is a lot of data, and collecting, cleaning, viewing, and analyzing it will take some hard work and dedication. For the pilot study we collected waveform data by printing it out from hospital monitors. For the DePPaRT study, we’re collaborating with the Dynamical Analysis Laboratory (DAL) to go paperless.
